Bowmore Unveils 1965 Precious Metals Travel Retail Exclusive

Bowmore has unveiled 1965 Precious Metals, a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky that celebrates the evolution of the distillery.
Distilled in the 1960s, which is considered by many to be the distillery’s golden age, Bowmore 1965 Precious Metals was matured for over five decades in an Oloroso Sherry cask before being bottled at 42% ABV. It’s described as having aromas of “fragrant fruits, sweet bees wax, and intense dark chocolate,” with notes of “burnt heather, jasmine, and dried fruit” on the palate, concluding with “fresh spring flower and apricots” on the finish.
Each bottle of Bowmore 1965 Precious Metals is numbered, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, and presented in an individually handcrafted oak box created by master craftsman John Galvin and adorned with a brass plaque made from the former spirit safe, dating back to 1924.
Limited to just four bottles worldwide, Bowmore 1965 Precious Metals is available at Global Travel Retail outlets in Dubai, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Amsterdam and carries a suggested retail price of $50,000.
