Gold Spot Irish Whiskey 135th Anniversary Limited Edition Revealed
Update: Gold Spot Irish Whiskey Launches June 2022!
Labels submitted to the TTB have revealed Gold Spot Irish Whiskey 135th Anniversary, a limited edition release celebrating the 135th anniversary of the Mitchell family’s whiskey bonding tradition.
Matured for at least nine years in Bourbon barrels, Sherry butts, Bordeaux wine casks, and Port pipes, Gold Spot is bottled non chill-filtered at 51.4% ABV (102.8 proof).
The back label describes Gold Spot Irish Whiskey as having aromas of “autumnal berries, apple, pear, stone fruits, wood spices, vanilla, and perfumed wine”, with notes of “pot still spices, vibrant fruits, delicate oak tannins, and wood spices” on the palate, concluding with a finish that is “rich and lasting with the wine casks and pot still spices lingering.”
Expect an official announcement with more information, including pricing, release date, and availability, prior to launch.

Can’t find it anywhere. Nobody has it and nobody knows when it will be back in stock, plus I can’t find any business who will reserve it for me. Very disappointed. No I’m not going to fly to Dublin for the duty free bottle.
