Johnnie Walker Announces Blue Label Ghost and Rare Pittyvaich
Johnnie Walker has announced a new installment in the Blue Label Ghost and Rare series, Pittyvaich.
Ghost and Rare is a series of limited edition bottlings crafted using whiskies from closed “ghost” distilleries and other rare malt and grain whiskies. This release is a blend of eight Scotch whiskies, including three “ghost” whiskies from the silent distilleries of Pittyvaich, Carsebridge, and Port Dundas, and five whiskies from the active distilleries of Auchroisk, Cragganmore, Mannochmore, Royal Lochnagar, and Strathmill.
Ghost and Rare Pittyvaich is bottled at 43.8% ABV and presented in a dark blue and orange bottle depicting a map of Scotland that highlights each of the distilleries used in the blend.
Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Pittyvaich is rolling out to stores this month and carries a suggested retail price of $349.99.
