Compass Box Canvas Revealed
Labels submitted to the TTB have revealed Compass Box Canvas, a limited edition blended malt Scotch whisky.
Compass Box Canvas is a marriage of Tomatin matured in a refill Bourbon barrel (37.5%), Glenburgie matured in a first-fill Bourbon barrel (25.0%), Glen Elgin matured in a refill American oak hogshead (17.0%), Tomatin re-racked into a vino naranja orange wine barrel (14.0%), and Imperial matured in a first fill Bourbon barrel (6.5%).
Compass Box Canvas is described as having notes of “chocolatey richness, sticky marmalade fragrance, custard, honey, and frangipane.”
Expect an official announcement with suggested pricing, release date, and more information prior to launch.
