Buffalo Trace Distillery Releases Stagg Jr. Batch 15
Buffalo Trace Distillery has released the latest batch of its Stagg Jr. Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. As is standard for all Stagg Jr. releases, Batch 15 (131.1 Proof) is aged eight years and bottled uncut and unfiltered.
Stagg Jr. Batch 15 is described as having aromas of “vanilla bean and salted caramel”, notes of “cherries, cinnamon and oak” on the palate, and a “long finish of toasted vanilla, pepper, coffee and hints of sweet mint.”
Released twice a year, Stagg Jr. Batch 15 (131.1 Proof) is shipping to retailers now and carries a suggested retail price of $49.99. Batch 16 will follow in spring 2021.
