Michter’s Announces 2020 Release of Toasted Barrel Finish Rye
Michter’s Distillery has announced the 2020 release of Michter’s US*1 Toasted Barrel Finish Rye.
Michter’s Toasted Barrel Finish Rye is made by taking their straight rye at barrel strength and aging it for an unspecified amount of time in a second, custom-made barrel that has been toasted but not charred. The average proof for the toasted rye barrels bottled for the 2020 release is 109.2.
Michter’s Toasted Barrel Finish Rye will be available in limited quantities beginning in September and carries a suggested retail price of $85.
