Kilchoman Releases Loch Gorm 2020 Edition

Kilchoman has released the 2020 Edition of Loch Gorm, an annually released limited edition and the only expression in the Kilchoman range to be fully matured in sherry casks.
Loch Gorm 2020 Edition is a marriage of 21 Oloroso sherry butts filled in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2011, yielding 15,500 bottles at 46% ABV and without any chill filtration or coloring.
The 2020 Edition of Kilchoman Loch Gorm is described as having aromas of “sweet maltiness, sooty peat smoke and citrus sweetness with light cinnamon and juicy raisins and sultanas.” On the palate, notes of “toffee, smoked meats and sherry sweetness with layers of ripe fruit, honey and hints of orange peel and sea salt.” It finishes with “BBQ smoke, dark choclate with apples, pears, plums, raisins and lasting oak spice.”
Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2020 Edition carries a suggested retail price of £69.90 (~$88) and is available in the UK and Europe now, with other markets to follow soon.

I’m really looking forward to the 2020 edition! Unfortunatelly I didn’t try the 2019, but the 2018 was a beautiful dram.
