Teeling Whiskey Unveils The Renaissance Series
Teeling Whiskey has unveiled The Renaissance, a limited edition series of Irish single malts created to celebrate the global renaissance of Irish whiskey. The Renaissance series is a follow-up to the Teeling Revival bottlings, which were originally released to celebrate the opening of the Teeling Whiskey Distillery.
The first bottling in The Renaissance series is an 18 year old Irish single malt that was aged in ex-Bourbon barrels and finished in ex-Madeira casks, imparting “hints of ripe red fruits and peaches with cinnamon and white pepper spices.”
Teeling Whiskey The Renaissance Series No. 1 is bottled without chill filtration at 46% ABV and is limited to just 9,000 bottles. The Renaissance Series No. 1 carries a suggested retail price of €140 (~$155) and will be available in Ireland at the Teeling Whiskey Distillery, Dublin Airport, and retail stores this December, with a global release to follow in 2020.
