Kilchoman Releases 2010 Vintage
Kilchoman has announced their fourth and final limited edition release of 2019, Kilchoman 2010 Vintage.
The 2010 Vintage is a vatting of 42 fresh bourbon barrels and 3 oloroso sherry butts, all filled in 2010 and matured for 9 years. Kilchoman claims “The balance of bourbon and sherry maturation allows for the vanilla and citrus flavours from the bourbon barrels and the rich, spicy influence of the oloroso sherry casks to balance and complement one another.”
Bottled at 48% ABV with no chill filtration or coloring, a total of 15,000 bottles of Kilchoman 2010 Vintage will be available beginning October 16th at a suggested retail price of £73.50 (~$94).
