Johnnie Walker Announces Blue Label Ghost and Rare Glenury Royal
Johnnie Walker has announced the third and final installment in the Blue Label Ghost and Rare series, Glenury Royal.
Ghost and Rare is a series of limited edition bottlings crafted using whiskies from closed “ghost” distilleries and other rare malt and grain whiskies. The third release is a blend of eight Scotch whiskies, including three “ghost” whiskies from the silent distilleries of Glenury, Pittyvaich, and Cambus, and five whiskies from the active distilleries of Glen Elgin, Glenlossie, Inchgower, Glenkinchie, and Cameronbridge.
Ghost and Rare Glenury Royal is bottled at 43.8% ABV and presented in a dark blue and orange bottle depicting a map of Scotland that highlights each of the distilleries used in the blend.
Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Glenury Royal launches October 2019 at a suggested retail price of $349.99.
