Weller Full Proof Launches June 2019
Buffalo Trace Distillery has officially unveiled Weller Full Proof, a new addition to their highly sought-after Weller line of wheated bourbons. As first reported earlier this month, Weller Full Proof is a no age statement, Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey bottled non-chill filtered at 114 proof (52% ABV).
Official tasting notes describe Weller Full Proof as having a nose of vanilla, dark cherries and caramel, a balance of caramel and toasted oak on the palate, and a long finish with notes of crème brulee and chocolate.
Weller Full Proof will be released once per year in limited quantities. The first release will be available starting June 2019 at a suggested retail price of $49.99.
