GlenDronach Releases First Travel Retail Exclusive Expression
The GlenDronach distillery has released it’s first ever travel retail exclusive bottling, The GlenDronach Forgue, aged 10 years in a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
Official tasting notes describe The GlenDronach Forgue as having notes of “Seville blood orange and cherry, with harvest-ripe barley, roasted chestnuts and winter spiced cocoa” on the nose, “Sweet Valencia orange and Morello cherries with rolling waves of ripe barley, dark currants, praline toffee and earthy brambles” on the palate, with a “lingering finish of orange laced tobacco and ground nutmeg.”
GlenDronach Forgue 10 Year Old is bottled at 43% ABV, non-chill filtered and of natural color. It carries a suggested price of $77 for a 1 Liter bottle.
