Compass Box Hedonism, The Muse Announced

In celebration of International Women’s Day 2018, Compass Box has announced their newest limited release, Compass Box Hedonism, The Muse.

Hedonism, The Muse combines seven casks of grain whiskies of varying ages from four distilleries “to create a whisky that has all the flavour hallmarks of the classic Hedonism, with even greater depth and intensity.”

Hedonism, The Muse recipe details:

1. Grain Whisky, Invergordon Distillery
   • Refill American Standard Barrel
   • 27.2% Total Liquid Volume
   • Sweet, caramel, red fruit
2. Grain Whisky, North British Distillery
   • Re-charred Barrel
   • 20.4% Total Liquid Volume
   • Cream, allspice, vanilla
3. Grain Whisky, Strathclyde Distillery
   • Refill Hogshead
   • 16% Total Liquid Volume
   • Blackcurrants, vanilla sponge, cream
4. Grain Whisky, North British Distillery
   • First Fill Bourbon Barrel
   • 15.7% Total Liquid Volume
   • Oak, green apples, spice
5. Unknown Blended Grain*
   • Butt
   • 13.8% Total Liquid Volume
   • Honey, vanilla, molasses
6. Grain Whisky, Port Dundas Distillery
   • Re-charred Barrel
   • 3.6% Total Liquid Volume
   • Sweet, delicate floral, cream
7. Grain Whisky, Port Dundas Distillery
   • Hogshead
   • 3.3% Total Liquid Volume
   • Oak, caramel, vanilla
