The Scotch Malt Whisky Society Releases Documentary Film, ‘Scotch and Sherry: A Flavour Odyssey’
The Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS), an independent bottler of single cask whisky and other spirits, has announced the release of its documentary film, ‘Scotch and Sherry: A Flavour Odyssey’.
Scotch and Sherry: A Flavour Odyssey follows the SMWS’ Head of Whisky Creation Euan Campbell as he travels across Spain to examine each aspect of a sherry cask’s journey and meets the people who create both the casks and the sherry that goes into them.
Scotch and Sherry: A Flavour Odyssey is free to watch on YouTube. The 40-minute feature film will also be screened every Saturday in May at the Society’s Bath Street venue in Glasgow, at its Queen Street venue in Edinburgh on May 16 and 23, and at The Machrie Hotel during the Islay Festival on May 29 and 30.
