The Maven Distillery has unveiled its flagship expression: The Maven Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
To create The Maven, the team blended whiskeys aged their full term in toasted American oak, with whiskeys matured in traditional charred oak barrels and finished in five distinct oak types: traditional American white, Chinkapin, Garryana, French, and Mizunara. The final product is a proprietary blend of these high-rye Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskeys, aged 7+ years and bottled at 47% ABV (94 proof).

Aroma: Apricot jam, baked apple, and graham cracker are framed by toasted coconut and crème brûlée, with a subtle hint of dark chocolate covered almond.
Palate: Rich and seamlessly layered, unfolding from dried stone fruit and caramelized vanilla into toasted almond, bittersweet chocolate, and warming gingerbread spice.
Finish: Dark chocolate and gingerbread linger through the finish, yielding gradually to toasted coconut, caramelized sugar, and toasted oak.
