Angel’s Envy Releases Cellar Collection Volume 6
Angel’s Envy has announced the Cellar Collection Volume 6: Straight Rye Whiskey Finished in Peach Brandy & Toasted Oak Barrels.
To create Angel’s Envy Cellar Collection Volume 6, rye whiskeys underwent two distinct finishing stages. The whiskeys were aged between 8 and 11 years total, with the components featuring a range of 15 to 23 month finishing time in peach brandy barrels, or a 6 to 12 month finish in toasted oak barrels. These whiskeys were then blended and bottled at 106.4 proof (53.2% ABV).
Angel’s Envy Cellar Collection Volume 6 is described as having aromas of “ripe stone fruit, baking spice, vanilla, and oak.” The palate exhibits notes of “peach, caramel, cinnamon, toasted oak, and rye spice.” The finish is “long, warming, and layered with lingering oak and orchard fruit.”
