B.R. Distilling Co. Announces Third Annual Honey Bourbon & Honey Rye Cask Whiskeys
Blue Note Bourbon has announced the third annual release of its Honey Bourbon Cask and Honey Rye Cask whiskeys.
Two create these two expressions, Blue Note finishes its whiskey in American oak barrels that have been seasoned with wildflower barrel-aged honey for 6-9 months. The result is two distinctive whiskeys layered with notes of golden honey, spice, toasted oak, and caramel sweetness.
The Honey Bourbon Cask Whiskey features a mash bill of 70% corn, 21% wheat, and 9% malted barley, and is presented unfiltered at at 117.8 proof (58.9% ABV). The Honey Rye Cask Whiskey features a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley and is presented unfiltered at 119.6 proof (59.8% ABV).
Approximately 15,000 bottles of both Blue Note Honey Bourbon Cask and Honey Rye Cask whiskeys are available online via BlueNoteBourbon.com and in select U.S. markets for the suggested retail price of $64.99 each. Blue Note will also offer its first-ever single barrels for both expressions, which are extremely limited and available in market with select retailers.
