Penelope Bourbon Announces Cigar Sessions: Chapter 2
Penelope Bourbon has announced the release of Cigar Sessions: Chapter 2, a high-proof American whiskey crafted in collaboration with renowned cigar-makers Alec Bradley.
Penelope Cigar Sessions: Chapter 2 is a blend of Straight Bourbon, American Single Malt, and American Light Whiskey, and is crafted to complement medium to full-bodied cigars. Cigar Sessions: Chapter 2 features a mash bill of 69% corn, 19% rye and 12% malt, and is bottled at six years old and presented at 117.4 proof (58.7% ABV).
Penelope Cigar Sessions: Chapter 2 is described as having aromas of “toasted oak, dark caramel, leather and baking spice.” The palate exhibits flavors of “charred brown sugar, sweet corn, cocoa, and creamy malt.” It finishes with notes of “dark chocolate, seasoned oak, and warm spice that lingers alongside the smoke.”
