Basil Hayden Launches Cognac Cask Reserve
Basil Hayden has announced the launch of its limited edition expression: Basil Hayden Cognac Cask Reserve.
Crafted from the brand’s signature high-rye bourbon mashbill, Basil Hayden Cognac Cask Reserve is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey finished in French oak casks that previously held Cognac exclusively for 20–25 years.
Basil Hayden Cognac Cask Reserve is bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) and described as having tasting notes of “warm caramel sweetness and dried fruit, enriched by Basil Hayden’s signature subtle spice, vanilla, and oak.”
Basil Hayden Cognac Cask Reserve is available now and carries a suggested retail price of $49.99 for a 750 mL bottle.
