Sagamore Whiskey Announces America 250 Straight Rye Whiskey
Sagamore Whiskey has announced the release of Sagamore America 250 Straight Rye Whiskey, a distillery exclusive that celebrates America’s 250th anniversary.
Sagamore America 250 Straight Rye Whiskey is a Maryland-made straight rye whiskey aged for 8 years in Maryland oak and bottled at 110 proof (55% ABV).
Sagamore America 250 Straight Rye Whiskey is described as having aromas of “caramel, citrus zest, hazelnut, and honey.” The palate exhibits notes of “dulce de leche, vanilla wafer, baking spice, and leather.” It finishes with “smoky oak, toasted marshmallow, dried cherry, and baked apples.”
Sagamore America 250 Straight Rye Whiskey is limited to 250 bottles and will be available beginning mid-July exclusively at the Baltimore waterfront distillery for $125.
