In celebration of America’s upcoming 250th anniversary, James B. Beam Distilling Co. has announced Knob Creek 9 Year Old: Independence Edition, a limited-edition expression of the brand’s 9 Year Old Bourbon featuring a blue wax seal and patriotic red, white, and blue label.

This release marks the first time in Knob Creek Bourbon’s history that the brand has changed the color of its signature wax seal. While the look of the bottle is new, the bourbon inside remains the same: aged nine years in American white oak, bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV), and featuring notes of “smooth vanilla, deep caramel, and bold charred oak.”

Knob Creek 9 Year Old: Independence Edition is available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $36.99.
