Silver Brothers Distillery Announces Opening of Tasting Room
Silver Brothers Distillery, a New York State farm distillery located in the Hudson Valley, has announced the opening of its tasting room and the release of its inaugural Three Year Empire Rye Whiskey.
The distillery’s tours and tastings will be available beginning June 6th. The guided tours will run approximately 60 minutes long and take visitors through the entire distilling process, from ingredient selection to barrel house.
The release of Silver Brothers Three Year Empire Rye will coincide with the opening of the tasting room in June. Distilled from a mash bill of 40% malted rye, 40% raw rye, and 20% malted barley, Batch No. 1 is a marriage of three 30 gallon barrels filled in April of 2023 and is bottled at 46% ABV. Each bottle carries the Empire Rye seal and is hand-labeled and numbered in sequence.
Silver Brothers Three Year Empire Rye is described as having aromas of “orange, clove, and brown sugar.” The palate exhibits “bright orange and apple notes layered with baking spice and vanilla.” It concludes with “a finish defined by distinctive rye spice.”
Silver Brothers Three Year Empire Rye carries a retail price of $78.00 and is available for pre-order now, with shipping or pick up at the distillery beginning on June 6th.
