Maker’s Mark has announced the second release of Star Hill Farm Whisky.

Named after the 1,100-acre farm that is home to the Maker’s Mark Distillery, Star Hill Farm Whisky is a constantly evolving annual release that explores the role of regenerating farming on soil, wheat, water, and wood, and its impact on flavor in whisky.

The inaugural release of Star Hill Farm spotlighted soft red winter wheat — the signature grain in Maker’s Mark’s mash bill. The 2026 release introduces hard red and hard white wheat types, demonstrating how diversity in grain impacts flavor.

Star Hill Farm 2026 is crafted from two mash bills aged for seven to eight years: one composed entirely of malted wheat, and another of 70% wheat and 30% malted barley. The final blend features a derived mash bill of 27% wheat, 62% malted wheat, and 11% malted barley, and is bottled at a cask strength of 58.2% ABV (116.4 proof).

The 2026 release of Star Hill Farm Whisky is described as having aromas of “molasses, fig, and delicate baking spices.” The palate exhibits “zesty citrus, ripe pear, and buttery shortbread.” The finish “lingers with soft cinnamon.”

Star Hill Farm Whisky 2026 carries a suggested retail price of $100 and is available now in the United States. In addition to the US, the release will also be available in the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and Duty Free.
