Basil Hayden Launches Golden Rye
Basil Hayden has announced the launch of Basil Hayden Golden Rye, a permanent expression that replaces Basil Hayden Malted Rye in the brand’s portfolio.
Crafted from the same 100% malted rye mashbill as the expression it replaces, Basil Hayden Golden Rye is intended to serve as an introduction to rye whiskey, emphasizing brightness, versatility, and approachability.
Basil Hayden Malted Rye is bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) and described as having notes of “toasted rye, warm spice, and delicate florals.”
Basil Hayden Golden Rye is available now and carries a suggested retail price of $36.99 for a 750 mL bottle.
