Lux Row Distillers Announces Blood Oath Pact 12
Lux Row Distillers has announced Blood Oath Pact 12, a limited edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey finished in Montepulciano and Sangiovese casks.
Blood Oath Pact 12 is crafted from a combination of ryed bourbons, including a blend of 9 year old ryed bourbon and 12 year old ryed bourbon, as well as a 7 year old ryed bourbon that was finished first in Montepulciano (fruit-forward dry Italian red wine) casks, then in Sangiovese (savory dry Italian red wine) casks.
Describing this release, Lux Row Master Distiller John Rempe stated, “Pact 12 opens with notes of stone fruit and caramel, balanced with a hint of vanilla. Then cocoa, leather and oak develop over the mid-palate, leading to a pleasant spice and black cherry finish.”
Blood Oath Pact 12 is limited to 51,000 bottles, 1,400 of which will be held for a future Trilogy release. The first Trilogy featuring Pacts 1, 2, and 3 was released in 2018, the second Trilogy featuring Pacts 4, 5, and 6 was released in September 2021, and the third Trilogy featuring Pacts 7, 8, and 9 was released in 2024.
Blood Oath Pact 12 is bottled at 98.6 proof (49.3% ABV) and will be available beginning in June for a suggested retail price of $129.99 per 750 mL bottle.
