Buffalo Trace Distillery Launches Sazerac Rye Full Proof
Buffalo Trace Distillery has announced the launch of Sazerac Rye Whiskey Full Proof, a new permanent addition to its Sazerac Rye portfolio.
Bottled at 125 proof (62.5% ABV), Sazerac Rye Whiskey Full Proof is described as having aromas of of “rye spice, fresh dill, and smoky oak.” On the palate, “it delivers a surprisingly smooth sweetness up front, followed by floral and herbal notes, supported by rich oak and classic rye grain character throughout.” The finish is “lightly peppery with a late rye spice that gently lingers, presenting warmth and complexity without being overwhelming.”
Sazerac Rye Whiskey Full Proof will be available in select markets beginning this month for a suggested retail price of $39.99 per 750 mL bottle.
