Brooklyn Brewery & Four Roses Announce 2025 Release of Black Ops Barrel Aged Stout
Brooklyn Brewery and Four Roses Distillery have announced the 2025 edition of Brooklyn Black Ops, marking the seventh annual release of their beer-bourbon collaboration.
The 2025 release once again showcases a Russian Imperial Stout aged for three months in Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon barrels, hand-selected by Four Roses Master Distiller Brent Elliott. The resulting beer, presented at 12.4% ABV, is described as having “a lush flavor profile of dark cocoa nibs, milk chocolate, and vanilla-forward oak, accented by subtle notes of caramelized sugar and bourbon sweetness.”
The 2025 Brooklyn Black Ops is available now in 16-ounce four-packs nationwide, as well as at Brooklyn Brewery’s Tasting Room in Williamsburg, and the Four Roses Distillery Visitor Center in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky and Cox’s Creek, Kentucky.
