Templeton Distillery has unveiled Templeton Single Barrel, its first single barrel rye whiskey distilled, aged, and bottled at the Templeton Distillery in Iowa.

When Templeton Distillery opened its doors nearly eight years ago, it was aging and bottling sourced whiskey, with plans to distill and bottle its own whiskey over time.

Templeton Single Barrel is bottled from the first rye barrels that were laid down at the distillery. These charred new American oak barrels were filled with spirit crafted from a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley and matured for six years prior to being bottled at cask strength.

Templeton Single Barrel is now available at select retailers and online for a suggested retail price of $49.99.
