Catador Itinerante Launches Editions 05 & 06

Catador Itinerante, an independent bottler specializing in world whiskies, has launched its fifth and sixth single cask releases in the U.S.
For Catador Itinerante Editions 05 and 06, Founder Pablo Goldbarg has selected single malt and rye whiskies from Zuidam Distillers (Millstone), located in the Netherlands.
Catador Itinerante Edition 05 was distilled from 100% malted barley at Zuidam Distillers in 2017 and matured for eight years in an Oloroso sherry cask. It was bottled in 2025 and is presented non-chill filtered, with no color added, at a cask strength of 55.4% ABV. Limited to 506 bottles.
Official tasting notes for Catador Itinerante Edition 05 follow: “Strawberry oatmeal with walnuts. Raisin syrup. A resinous, harmonious delight.”
Catador Itinerante Edition 06 was distilled from 100% rye at Zuidam Distillers in 2016 and matured for nine years in an American oak cask. It was bottled in 2025 and is presented non-chill filtered, with no color added, at a cask strength of 55.1% ABV. Limited to 568 bottles.
Official tasting notes for Catador Itinerante Edition 06 follow: “Where prune cake meets Vlaflip. White pepper. Earl Grey. Lavender. A majestic dulcet.”
Catador Itinerante Edition 05 and Edition 06 are presented in 375 mL bottles with a suggested retail price of $59.99 each. Both editions are available at select retailers in Massachusetts and New York. The whiskies are also available through Catador Itinerante’s website with shipping to additional states.
