Lost Lantern Announces Far Flung Bourbon III

Independent bottler Lost Lantern has announced the launch of Far Flung Bourbon III, the third iteration of it’s flagship bourbon.
Far Flung Bourbon III is a blend of 4-8 year old straight bourbon whiskeys from six distilleries across six states — Frey Ranch (NV), Wollersheim (WI), Rock Town (AR), Rich Grain (MS), Still Austin (TX), and Smooth Ambler (WV) — and is bottled non-chill filtered and of natural color at a cask strength of 62.4% ABV (124.8 proof).
Far Flung Bourbon III is described as having aromas of “rich oak spice, caramel, and chocolate-covered espresso beans.” The palate exhibits notes of “warm oak, lemon bars, and toasted almonds.” It concludes with a “long, rich, and spicy finish.”
Lost Lantern Far Flung Bourbon III is limited to 699 bottles and is now available for purchase at lostlanternwhiskey.com, seelbachs.com, the Lost Lantern Tasting Room in Vermont, and at retailers in select states.
