Remus Bourbon has announced the release of Remus Repeal Reserve Series IX, the latest offering of the distillery’s annual limited edition straight bourbon whiskey.

Remus Repeal Reserve features a new medley of bourbons each year, allowing Master Distiller Ian Stirsman and his team of Master Distillers and Master Blenders to experiment with their various mash bills and aged reserves.

The 2025 medley is comprised of 7% 2006 vintage (18 year old) bourbon containing 21% rye; 26% 2014 vintage (11 year old) bourbon containing 36% rye; 23% 2015 vintage (10 year old) bourbon containing 36% rye; and 44% 2014 vintage (10 year old) bourbon containing 21% rye. Remus Repeal Reserve Series IX is bottled at 104 proof (52% ABV) – the highest proof for the series to date – and presented non-chill filtered.

Remus Repeal Reserve Series IX is described as having aromas of “seasoned oak, leather, ripe sweet cherry, and subtle tobacco.” The palate exhibits notes of “cherry, roasted coffee, and a touch of smoky spice.” It finishes with “lingering oak and spice that fades into notes of coffee, cherry, and tobacco.”

Remus Repeal Reserve Series IX carries a suggested retail price of $99.99 per 750 mL bottle and will be available in limited quantities beginning in September.
