The House of Suntory Unveils Yamazaki 25 Years Old Mizunara

The House of Suntory has announced the release of Yamazaki 25 Years Old Mizunara, the oldest fully Mizunara-aged expression in Yamazaki’s history.
Yamazaki 25 Years Old Mizunara is described as having aromas of “apricot compote, cacao latte, and spiciness evoking nutmeg and cardamom.” The palate is exhibits “bittersweet, spicy flavor with orange notes and nuances of cream.” It finishes with “a complex woodiness of Mizunara oak with bittersweet hints of oriental herbal medicine.”
Bottled at 48% ABV, Yamazaki 25 Years Old Mizunara is encased in a handcrafted box, assembled using a traditional Japanese nail-free “locking” method.
Yamazaki 25 Years Old Mizunara is available globally in select markets for a suggested retail price of $7,500 USD.
