Penelope Bourbon Announces Ready-to-Pour Black Walnut Old Fashioned
Penelope Bourbon has announced the second release in a series of ready-to-pour bottled cocktails: the Penelope Black Walnut Old Fashioned.
Penelope Black Walnut Old Fashioned is created with straight bourbon and rye whiskey, black walnut bitters, and vanilla demerara, and is bottled at 76 proof (38% ABV).
Penelope Black Walnut Old Fashioned is described as having aromas of “warm vanilla, with hints of maple, allspice, and cocoa.” The palate exhibits notes of “fresh brown sugar followed by light allspice, cinnamon, and vanilla.” It finishes with “velvety toffee, hints of nut, and lingering caramel.”
Penelope Black Walnut Old Fashioned is now available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $29.99.
