Blue Note Announces 2025 Release of Honey Bourbon Cask
Blue Note Bourbon has announced the launch of Honey Bourbon Cask 2025 Release.
To create Blue Note Honey Bourbon Cask, American oak barrels used for finishing were repurposed to produce barrel-aged honey. The team then finished a Straight Bourbon Whiskey, which was distilled from a mash bill of 70% rye, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley and aged for a minimum of three years, in the honey-infused casks. The 2025 release of Blue Note Honey Bourbon Cask is presented unfiltered and bottled at 113.86 proof (56.93% ABV).
Blue Note Honey Bourbon Cask is described as having aromas of “vanilla, cedar, and nut.” The palate exhibits notes of “leather, pear, cedar, wildflower, and honey.” It concludes with “lingering hints of wildflower and honey.”
The 2025 release of Blue Note Honey Bourbon Cask is limited to 1,800 bottles and is available for purchase online at bluenotebourbon.com and in select U.S. markets for a suggested retail price of $64.99 for a 750 mL bottle.
