High West Distillery has announced the launch of High West Bottled in Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey.

Crafted at High West Distillery in Wanship, UT, High West Bottled in Bond Bourbon was produced from a high-rye mash bill of 64% non-GMO yellow corn and 36% rye, aged for 4 years, 5 months in a federally bonded warehouse and bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV).

High West Bottled in Bond Rye is described as having aromas of “honeycrisp apple, golden raisins, zested kumquat, graham cracker crust, wildflower honey, malted milk chocolate, toasted oak spice, and honeycomb in a wicker basket.” The palate has notes of “peach and cherry cobbler, gingersnaps, roasted marshmallows, puffed wheat cereal, cocoa nibs, molasses, dried thyme, and charred barrel staves.” It concludes with “financier cakes – grated almonds and brown butter” on the finish.

High West Bottled in Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey is available for purchase on High West’s website and at retailers nationwide for a suggested retail price of $79.99.
