Heaven Hill Distillery has announced the release of the second edition of Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey.

Each annual edition of Heaven Hill Grain to Glass features a unique corn seed varietal, chosen in collaboration with Beck’s Hybrids to grow well in the soils of Central Kentucky. The 2025 release features corn seed varietal Beck’s 6225 and was grown by family-owned Peterson Farms on one of two sites in Nelson County, Kentucky.

The 2025 release of Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey is made with a mashbill of 63% rye, 20% corn, and 13% malt – a unique mashbill with a higher rye content than Heaven Hill Distillery’s traditional rye recipe. Distilled in 2018, it was barreled at 107 proof (53.5% ABV) and aged for over six years at Heaven Hill’s Cox’s Creek rickhouse site, then bottled without chill filtration at a barrel strength of 105.2 proof (52.6% ABV).

The 2025 release of Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey is described as having aromas of “toasted oak and almonds.” The palate exhibits notes of “creamy orange marmalade, chocolate with nutmeg, white pepper spices, and honey sweetness.” The finishes is “long and warm with crème brûlée, charred oak, and orange oil with rye spices.”

The second edition of Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey is available now for a suggested retail price of $99.99/700 mL bottle.
