Blue Note Launches Single Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey
Blue Note Bourbon has announced the launch of its first Single Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey.
Distilled in Kentucky and crafted in Memphis, Blue Note Single Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey features a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley, was aged a minimum of four years, and is bottled unfiltered between 116-124 proof (58%-62% ABV).
Blue Note Single Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey is described as having aromas of “perfumed fruits, warm honey sweetness, baked apples, and buttered toffee.” The palate exhibits flavors of “leather, berries, cherry cobbler, herbal and spice notes, fudge covered graham, and ginger.” The finish is “long and trailing with slightly perfumed candied fruits, toasted honey, and Thin Mint cookies.”
Blue Note Single Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey is now available for purchase online at bluenotebourbon.com and at select retailers in 20 U.S. states for a suggested retail price of $49.95 for a 750 mL bottle.
