Buffalo Trace Distillery Launches Eagle Rare 12 Year Old
Buffalo Trace Distillery has announced the release of Eagle Rare 12, a new permanent addition to its Eagle Rare portfolio.
Eagle Rare 12 was distilled from Buffalo Trace’s Mashbill #1 and aged for a minimum of 12 years prior to being bottled at 95 proof (47.5% ABV).
Eagle Rare 12 is described as having aromas of “sweet oak and delicate hints of almond.” The palate exhibits “bold complexity, featuring subtle vanilla and toasted oak.” It concludes with a “rich, lingering finish with warm notes of toffee.”
Eagle Rare 12 will be available across the United States beginning this month for a suggested retail price of $49.99 per 750 mL bottle. International markets will follow in fall 2025.
