Heaven Hill Distillery has announced the release of the second edition of Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.

Each annual edition of Heaven Hill Grain to Glass features a unique corn seed varietal, chosen in collaboration with Beck’s Hybrids to grow well in the soils of Central Kentucky. The 2025 release features corn seed varietal Beck’s 6225 and was grown by family-owned Peterson Farms on one of two sites in Nelson County, Kentucky.

Distilled in 2018, the second edition of Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey was barreled at 107 proof (53.5% ABV) and aged for six years in rickhouses W5 and W6 on the third, fourth, and fifth floors. It’s made up of 52% corn, 35% rye, and 13% malt – a unique mashbill with a higher secondary grain content than Heaven Hill Distillery’s traditional bourbon recipe – and is bottled without chill filtration at a barrel strength of 105 proof (52.5% ABV).

The 2025 release of Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is described as having aromas of “toasted pecans and peanuts with warm oak notes.” The palate exhibits notes of “butterscotch, caramel, and cardamom-spiced apple pie, with a rich and viscous mouthfeel.” It finishes with notes of “vanilla ice cream on top of warm apple pie that linger on the palate, giving way to rye and ginger spices.”

The second edition of Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is available now for a suggested retail price of $99.99/700 mL bottle.
