Lux Row Distillers Announces Blood Oath Pact 11
Lux Row Distillers has announced Blood Oath Pact 11, a limited edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey finished in Añejo Tequila barrels.
To create Blood Oath Pact 11, Master Distiller John Rempe combined two Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskeys – a 14 year old ryed bourbon and a 10 year old wheated bourbon – with a 7 year old ryed bourbon that was finished in Añejo Tequila barrels.
Blood Oath Pact 11 is described as having aromas of “cherry with hints of citrus.” The palate exhibits flavors of “warm vanilla and black pepper, sweetly infused with spice and oak.” It finishes with “velvet notes accompanied by black cherry and decadent dark chocolate.”
Blood Oath Pact 11 is limited to 51,000 bottles, 1,400 of which will be held for a future Trilogy release. The first Trilogy featuring Pacts 1, 2, and 3 was released in 2018, the second Trilogy featuring Pacts 4, 5, and 6 was released in September 2021, and the third Trilogy featuring Pacts 7, 8, and 9 was released in 2024.
Blood Oath Pact 11 is bottled at 49.3% ABV and will be available beginning in April at a suggested retail price of $129.99 per 750 mL bottle.
