Michter’s Announces 2025 Release of Barrel Strength Rye
Michter’s Distillery has announced the 2025 release of Michter’s US*1 Barrel Strength Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey.
Due to the nature of single barrel products, proof will vary from bottle to bottle. The average proof of the barrels in this release is 110.5 proof (55.25% ABV).
Michter’s Master of Maturation Andrea Wilson describes Michter’s Barrel Strength Rye as exhibiting “baking spice, dark fruit, toffee, and fragrant citrus and floral notes all within a round, smooth, complex finish.”
The 2025 release of Michter’s Barrel Strength Rye will be available in limited quantities beginning in March for a suggested retail price of $120 for a 750 mL bottle.
