Found North Launches Peregrine 2024

Found North has announced the launch of its latest release, Found North Peregrine 2024.
Found North Peregrine 2024 began as a blend of 21 and 24 year old rye blended with 23, 24, and 25 year old corn. That blend was then finished in Cognac and New American Oak casks for three months, of which all but one barrel were used to create the final blend. Peregrine 2024 has a final grain composition of 78% Corn, 21% Rye, and 1% Malted Barley and is bottled non chill-filtered, with no additives, and of natural color at a cask strength of 57.1% ABV (114.2 proof) and is limited to 3,345 bottles.
Official tasting notes for Found North Peregrine 2024 follow:
Raspberry, nectarine, cocoa butter, magnolia blossom and honey with whisps of tantalizing toffee waft solicitously from the glass. The aromas make promises you hope the liquid can keep.
The Peregrine 2024 palate does not have a distinct beginning, middle and end. Touching the glass to your lips is like plunging into a rushing river of flavor. Its crisp, bright fruit sweeps you up into a serpentine torrent of chocolatey currents, seizing the wind from your chest, strumming your heartchords with a succession of cinnamon, sugar and ripened red pear. The twisting notes of dragonfruit, molasses, and nougat are intricate and luscious, undulating from density to richness.
The final crescendo of cloves, couverture chocolate and apricots crest and fall like the rush of a crashing wave skimming across a long, flat beach. As you catch your breath, each exhale echoes nutmeg and woodspice. The moment you get off the ride, you just want to strap in and take another sip.
Found North Peregrine 2024 is available through an online ballot open through 12:00 PM ET on February 14, 2025 and will also be available in-stores across the country for a suggested retail price of $225.
