High West has announced the launch of The Noble Share, a limited edition whiskey made in collaboration with Casa Noble Tequila.

High West The Noble Share was created from a blend of 4-10 year old rye whiskeys distilled at MGP (95% rye, 5% malted barley) and High West Distillery (80% rye, 20% malted rye). The majority of this rye blend was finished in Marques de Casa Noble Añejo French oak Tequila barrels for 6 months, while a very small portion of the blend was finished in Amburana barrels at a char of 3 or medium toast treatments for a small period (around 1-3 weeks). After finishing, the two components were then married and bottled at 52% ABV (104 proof).

Official tasting notes for High West The Noble Share follow:

The Marques Añejo tequila barrels impart beautiful yet subtle agave and lemongrass notes with light vanilla. The botanical character complements this and spice from the base rye spirit blend. The Amburana barrels enhance blend complexity with a slight nuance of cinnamon stick.

High West The Noble Share is now available in limited quantities for a suggested retail price of $174.99.
