Teeling Whiskey Unveils Phoenix Legends Series
Teeling Whiskey has unveiled Phoenix Legends, a limited edition series celebrating Notre Dame Football.
The first of three releases, Phoenix Legends Series No. 1 commemorates the 100th anniversary of Notre Dame Football’s first consensus National Championship with a 24 year old Irish single malt finished in Rivesaltes casks. Phoneix Legends Series No. 1 is bottled non-chill filtered and of natural color at 46% ABV.
Teeling Phoenix Legends Series No. 1 is described as having aromas of “toffee, tropical fruit, papaya, honeydew melon, candied citrus, and cotton candy.” The palate exhibits an “explosion of fruit, butterscotch, walnuts, and honeyed sweetness,” concluding with a “long warming finish with notes of strawberry, and sweet fruits, pepper, cinnamon, and caramel.”
Teeling Phoenix Legends Series No. 1 is limited to 1,000 bottles and is now available for a suggested retail price of $500.
