Penelope Bourbon Announces the Launch of Its Founders Reserve List
Penelope Bourbon has announced the launch of its Founders Reserve List. By joining the list, fans will have the exclusive opportunity to secure Penelope Founders Reserve, the rarest whiskey in the recently unveiled Penelope Estate Collection.
Penelope Founders Reserve features 24 barrels of experimental straight wheat whiskey with a mash bill of 95% wheat and 5% barley malt aged 11 years in charred new American oak barrels at the Ross & Squibb Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. The Penelope team selected and batched barrels into five lots and bottled them at cask strength to give each lot its own character.
- Lot B: 118.4 proof (59.2% ABV)
- Lot C: 116.6 proof (58.3% ABV)
- Lot D: 109.5 proof (54.75% ABV)
- Lot E: 107.6 proof (53.8% ABV)
- Lot F: 108.2 proof (54.1% ABV)
Members of the Founders Reserve List can secure these bottles for $199.99 each or acquire the entire five-lot set for $995.95. Reserved bottles will be available for pickup only at Lux Row Distillers in Bardstown, Kentucky, between November 22 and December 21, 2024.
To mark this special release, Penelope Bourbon founders Michael Paladini and Danny Polise will personally welcome guests on November 22 at Lux Row Distillers for the official Founders Reserve launch.
