Basil Hayden Re-Releases 10 Year Old Bourbon
Basil Hayden 10 Year Old Bourbon is back with a new look and as a permanent addition to the core Basil Hayden lineup! First launched in December 2018, Basil Hayden 10 Year Old Bourbon was previously only released in limited quantities on an annual basis.
The bourbon is produced from Basil Hayden’s high-rye recipe, aged for 10 years in newly charred American oak barrels, and bottled at 40% ABV. It’s described as having aromas of “big oak, hints of char, vanilla, and rye,” followed by notes of “oak balanced by caramel sweetness and rye spice” on the palate, finishing “lightly smoky with a subtle hint of char.”
The new packaging maintains the monogrammed Basil Hayden belt, but the rest of the presentation has been elevated with a polished, darker gray label with gold embossed font.
Basil Hayden 10 Year Old Bourbon is now available for purchase year-round at retailers across the United States for a suggested retail price of $84.99 for a 750 mL bottle.
