WhistlePig PiggyBack Rye: Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber Single Barrel has been aged for six years in new American oak and finished in Finnish racing driver Valtteri Bottas’ OΛTH Gin barrels. OΛTH Gin is crafted in Bottas’ Finnish homeland from vacuum distilled oats spiced with apple peels. The Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber Single Barrel is bottled at 100.77 proof (50.385% ABV), a nod to Bottas’ Formula One car number, 77.
WhistlePig PiggyBack Rye: Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber Single Barrel is described as having aromas of “Red Delicious apple, resinous spruce tips, cinnamon, and a light and subtle florality.” The palate exhibits notes of “cinnamon and cedar, alpine resin, and delicate orchard fruit,” finishing with “a delicate floral note reminiscent of honey-suckle and lavender.”
