Penelope Bourbon Announces 2024 Release of Valencia
Penelope Bourbon has announced the 2024 release of Penelope Valencia.
Penelope Valencia is a limited edition straight Bourbon whiskey produced from a blended four-grain mash bill (74% corn, 16% wheat, 7% rye, and 3% malted barley) and finished in Vino de Naranja (orange wine) casks from Sevilla, Spain for up to 12 months. Valencia is presented non-chill filtered and bottled at 95 proof (47.5% ABV).
Penelope Valencia is described as having aromas of “bold spice and iced coffee cake with orange glaze,” a palate of “citrus zest and mandarin with hints of vanilla and candied ginger,” and a “savory finish with hints of orange peel and black pepper.”
Penelope Valencia is limited to 30,000 bottles and is now available at a suggested retail price of $79.99 per 750 mL bottle.
