Michter’s Announces 2024 Release of Toasted Barrel Finish Bourbon
Michter’s Distillery has announced that the 2024 release of Michter’s US*1 Toasted Barrel Finish Bourbon will begin shipping in September. This year’s release will be the fifth in the series, which was first launched in 2014 and released again in 2015, 2018, and 2021.
Michter’s US*1 Toasted Barrel Finish Bourbon is made by taking Michter’s Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and aging it for an additional period in a second custom made barrel that is toasted, but not charred. This year’s release is described as having notes of “graham crackers, marshmallows, caramel, and butterscotch.”
Michter’s US*1 Toasted Barrel Finish Bourbon is bottled at 45.7% ABV and will be available in limited quantities at a suggested retail price of $110 for a 750 mL bottle.
