Micil Distillery Announces First Release of Micil Peated Single Malt Irish Whiskey
Micil Distillery has announced the limited First Release edition of Micil Peated Single Malt Irish Whiskey.
Micil Peated Single Malt represents the marriage of Micil’s Connemara and Galway City roots. Produced in a small still, with long distillation times and cuts made by taste and sense alone, this whiskey uses 100% Irish barley, malted with turf from the Micil family land in Connemara, and matured in Pedro Ximénez, Amontillado, and Palo Cortado casks to impart “intense sweetness and depth.”
Micil’s First Release of Peated Single Malt is limited to just 360 numbered bottless and is available at micildistillery.com, McCambridges of Galway, and The Celtic Whiskey Shop in Dublin for a recommended retail price of €180.
